Application:
Genius© pultruded fiberglass structural shapes from Genius Composite Inc. are used in a wide range of applications and provide a unique combination of corrosion resistance, high strength, dimensional stability and light weight, along with thermal and electric non-conductivity. Durable Genius shapes provide years of low maintenance service in areas where steel, aluminum or wood components are traditionally specified. Today ,these shapes are often used in highly corrosive applications where stainless steel and other expensive components were once required.

Application Scenarios
Vinyl ester round tubes are suitable for applications with high corrosion resistance and strength requirements, such as handrails and support rods for chemical and wastewater treatment platforms, frames and ladders for marine and coastal engineering, and insulating structural components in power and rail transit fields.
In scenarios with large spans or obvious lightweight requirements, round tubes can be used as main load-bearing members or truss web members, facilitating combined design with other pultruded profiles (such as square tubes, angles, and plates).
Selection Guide
When selecting, please first confirm the medium type and concentration of the service environment, operating temperature, UV exposure conditions, as well as the required load forms (tension, compression, bending) and connection methods, then choose the appropriate tube diameter, wall thickness, and resin system accordingly.
Different diameters and wall thicknesses correspond to different sectional moments of inertia and load-bearing capacities. It is recommended to determine specifications based on design drawings or span requirements; if you need cross-section recommendations based on operating conditions, please contact us with your parameters and our technical team will assist with selection.
Product Advantages
Vinyl ester resin systems generally offer good corrosion resistance and temperature performance. Combined with glass fiber reinforcement, round tubes possess typical composite advantages such as lightweight and high strength, insulation and non-magnetic properties, and maintenance-free operation.
The pultrusion process enables continuous axial distribution of fibers, resulting in products with stable dimensions and smooth surfaces, easy to cut, drill, and install on site, suitable for replacing some easily corroded metal pipes.
