Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) grating is a panel with a certain open area, custom molded using unsaturated polyester resin (including isophthalic, phenylene, phenolphthalein, and bisphenol types) as the skeleton.

Operating Environment
- Designed for outdoor and indoor industrial environments: this 38*38H38 molded FRP grating is made from unsaturated polyester resin and withstands weathering, UV exposure and humid conditions without the corrosion problems commonly seen with steel grating in open workshops, walkways and platforms.
- Suitable for highly chemically corrosive environments: the resin systems used in this FRP grating (isophthalic, phenylene, bisphenol and related types) are selected to resist acids, alkalis, salts and other corrosive media present in chemical, wastewater treatment and processing areas.
- For environments where fire performance is a concern, flame-retardant resin grades are available: the phenolic type has a high oxygen index, making the grating suitable for applications requiring low toxicity and high flame retardancy.
- Suitable for environments with temperature and humidity variations commonly found in workshop floors, cooling towers, marine and coastal sites, and washdown areas; please contact us for recommended resin grades and full parameter tables for your specific operating conditions.
