Greenlogy TEC

FRP pultruded profiles are a new type of composite material made with glass fiber reinforcement as the base material, resin as the adhesive, and glass fiber cloth as the covering reinforcement layer; after full impregnation, they are heated, formed, and cured in a metal mold and then pulled by a pulling machine. They have good physical properties and are widely used in high-strength, large-span applications.

Applications:

Greenlogy TEC pultruded FRP structural profiles are widely used in various applications, combining corrosion resistance, high strength, dimensional stability and light weight, along with thermal and electrical insulation properties. Durable Greenlogy TEC structural profiles provide years of low-maintenance service in areas where steel, aluminum or wood components are traditionally used. Today, these profiles are commonly used in highly corrosive applications that previously required stainless steel and other costly components.

Application Scenarios

Vinyl I-beams suit high-humidity, highly corrosive and high-strength environments, such as chemical platforms, wastewater treatment facilities, marine engineering and power facilities. Their light weight and high strength make transport and installation easier, and they suit long-span structures. Contact us to learn about specific application cases.

Selection Guidance

When selecting, consider load, span, corrosive environment and installation conditions together. We recommend determining the beam cross-section size based on design load and support spacing, and choosing the appropriate model with reference to the product specification table. For technical support, contact us for selection advice.

Product Advantages

Vinyl I-beams offer excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and light weight, along with good insulation and aging resistance. Compared with steel, they have a longer service life and lower maintenance costs. Contact us for detailed performance data.

Service Environment

  • These vinyl resin FRP I-beams are formed as pultruded structural profiles, so the finished profiles suit both outdoor use and indoor installation, including structures directly exposed to weather.
  • The glass fiber reinforcement and vinyl resin matrix make this I-beam suitable for environments with chemically corrosive media, such as plant areas with acid or alkali vapors, splash zones and humid process workshops, where the profile is chosen for its corrosion resistance rather than steel.
  • Because the section is pultruded in a heated metal die and cured before pulling, the beam retains its shape under humid conditions and across wide temperature fluctuations between hot and cold plant environments.
  • Typical application locations for this I-beam series are load-bearing frames, spans and support structures in wastewater treatment, chemical, cooling tower and other processing facilities where moisture and corrosive media are present.

Custom Cutting

Need panels that fit, or cut to shape? We custom cut FRP grating and profiles to your drawing: panels cut to size or to shape (corner cuts, cutouts), cut edges sealed with resin, and pre-cut and pre-drilled to drawing before shipping. See the custom cutting services.
