FRP pultruded profiles are a new type of composite material made with glass fiber as the reinforcement, resin as the adhesive, and glass fiber cloth as a covering reinforcing layer; after full impregnation, they are heated, formed, and cured in a metal mold and pulled (pultruded) by a pulling machine. They have good physical properties and are widely used in high-strength and large-span applications.

Applications:

Greenlogy TEC pultruded FRP profiles are used in a wide range of applications, combining corrosion resistance, high strength, dimensional stability and light weight with thermal insulation and non-conductive properties. Durable Greenlogy TEC profiles offer years of low-maintenance service in areas traditionally specified for steel, aluminum or wood components. Today, these profiles are commonly used in highly corrosive applications that previously required stainless steel and other costly components.

Application Scenarios

Vinyl ester channel profiles are suitable for platforms, walkways, support frames and other applications with high corrosion resistance requirements, as well as humid or corrosive environments such as chemical plants and water treatment facilities. Their light weight and high strength make on-site cutting and installation convenient, and they can replace some traditional metal channels. For suitability for your specific operating conditions, please contact us to discuss.

Selection Guide

When selecting, consider span, load, support method and the type of corrosive medium to confirm the channel's cross-section dimensions and wall thickness. The vinyl ester resin system offers advantages in chemical resistance and is suitable for highly corrosive applications. For recommended specifications for a specific project, please contact us for technical support.

Product Advantages

Formed by pultrusion with glass fiber reinforcement and resin impregnation, the product features light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, insulation and low maintenance. The surface can be covered with a glass fiber cloth reinforcement layer to improve overall mechanical performance and durability. For detailed performance data, please contact us.

Inquiry Guidance

For detailed specifications, dimensional tolerances, packaging and shipping methods for vinyl ester channel profiles, please contact us for detailed specifications and a quotation. We can provide selection advice and sample support based on your project requirements. We look forward to your inquiry.

Service Environment

  • Vinyl ester FRP channel profiles resist corrosion from acids, alkalis, salts and oxidizing media, making them suitable for chemical plants, wastewater treatment facilities and marine environments where steel tends to deteriorate.
  • These profiles perform reliably outdoors and in humid conditions, including exposure to moisture, salt spray and industrial atmospheres, without the need for additional protective coatings.
  • Vinyl ester FRP channel profiles have low thermal conductivity, which helps reduce thermal bridging in structural components and improve energy efficiency in both indoor and outdoor installations.
  • Typical applications include platforms and walkways in offshore and coastal environments, as well as support structures in pulp and paper mills, where continuous exposure to corrosive media requires durable and non-conductive materials.

Custom Cutting

Need panels that fit, or cut to shape? We custom cut FRP grating and profiles to your drawing: panels cut to size or to shape (corner cuts, cutouts), cut edges sealed with resin, and pre-cut and pre-drilled to drawing before shipping. See the custom cutting services.
