Greenlogy TEC

FRP pultruded profiles are made of glass fiber reinforcement, with resin as the binder and glass fiber cloth as the wrapping reinforcement layer; after full impregnation, they are heated, formed and cured in a metal mold and pulled out by a traction machine as a new type of composite material with good physical properties, widely used in high-strength and long-span applications.

Applications:

Greenlogy TEC pultruded FRP structural profiles are widely used in various applications, offering a unique combination of corrosion resistance, high strength, dimensional stability and light weight, along with thermal and electrical insulation. Durable Greenlogy TEC profiles provide years of low-maintenance service in areas where steel, aluminum or wood components are traditionally specified. Today, these profiles are often used in highly corrosive applications that previously required stainless steel and other costly components.

Application Scenarios

Structural profiles—flat tubes (isophthalic)—are commonly used for load-bearing and support structures requiring strength and corrosion resistance, such as platform frames, handrail posts, walkway supports and equipment frames. The isophthalic resin system suits humid, acid/alkali or outdoor exposure environments and can replace some metal profiles in various operating conditions. For specific application scenarios and installation methods, please contact us.

Selection Guidance

When selecting, consider load direction, span, connection method and environmental media, and weigh the flat tube's cross-sectional dimensions, wall thickness and resin system. The dimension table on this page lists the cross-section and unit weight of each specification for preliminary comparison; actual load capacity and deflection must be confirmed through engineering design. For selection advice for a specific project, please contact us for detailed specifications and quotation.

Product Advantages

The pultrusion process arranges glass fibers continuously along the axial direction, giving the flat tube high axial strength and stiffness, along with the FRP characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance, non-magnetic properties, insulation and ease of processing. The isophthalic resin system further improves resistance to humid and chemical environments and facilitates on-site cutting, drilling and bolted connections. For specific performance data, please contact us.

Inquiry Guidance

If you need to determine specifications, quantity, length or other customization requirements, please contact us for detailed specifications and quotation. Please provide the operating environment, load conditions and required cross-sectional dimensions, and we will provide selection advice and commercial terms accordingly.

Operating Environment

  • Pultruded FRP flat tubes made with isophthalic resin are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including installations exposed to weathering and UV environments.
  • The isophthalic resin matrix enables FRP flat tubes to resist moisture, dampness, and splashing or immersion in water treatment and chemical process areas.
  • This structural profile is used in corrosive industrial environments where acids, alkalis, salts or chlorides attack conventional steel components.
  • Typical locations include chemical plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, cooling towers, coastal and marine structures, and other corrosive or high-humidity sites.

Custom Cutting

Need panels that fit, or cut to shape? We custom cut FRP grating and profiles to your drawing: panels cut to size or to shape (corner cuts, cutouts), cut edges sealed with resin, and pre-cut and pre-drilled to drawing before shipping. See the custom cutting services.
