FRP profiles are a new type of composite material made with glass fiber reinforcement as the base material, resin as the adhesive, and glass fiber cloth as the wrapping reinforcement layer; after thorough impregnation, they are heated, formed and cured in metal molds and then drawn by a haul-off machine. They have good physical properties and are widely used in high-strength, large-span applications.

Applications:
Greenlogy TEC pultruded FRP profiles are widely used in various applications, combining corrosion resistance, high strength, dimensional stability and light weight, with thermal and electrical insulation properties. In areas where steel, aluminum or wooden components have traditionally been used, durable Greenlogy TEC profiles provide years of low-maintenance service. Today, these profiles are often used in highly corrosive applications that previously required stainless steel and other expensive components.

Application Scenarios
Curved flat bars (isophthalic resin type) are commonly used in locations requiring curved-surface fitting and structural reinforcement, such as circumferential reinforcement of tanks, pipe supports, curved walkway frames, and edge finishing of handrails and platforms. The isophthalic resin system gives these profiles an advantage under operating conditions with higher corrosion resistance and weather resistance requirements, making them suitable for chemical, water treatment, marine and general industrial environments. Please confirm the specific applicable working conditions with us based on the media and load conditions.
Selection Guide
When selecting, we recommend first confirming the arc radius and the curvature of the mating surface, then determining the width and thickness according to the span and load requirements, and finally checking the hole positions and connectors according to the installation method (bolted fixing, bonding, or splicing with grating/profiles). The recommended specifications in the table are for general reference. If the existing specifications do not match your arc or load, please contact us for customization based on drawings and samples. Please contact us for detailed specifications and quotations.
Product Advantages
The combination of glass fiber reinforcement and isophthalic resin gives this profile the characteristics of light weight and high strength, corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and non-magnetic properties, and ease of cutting and installation, making it suitable for replacing some metal profiles to reduce dead weight and lower maintenance frequency. The pultrusion process ensures stable cross-sectional dimensions and continuous fiber distribution, and the curved structure makes stress distribution more uniform under load. Specific data such as the coefficient of thermal expansion and electrical insulation performance can be confirmed by requesting documentation.
Inquiry Guidance
If you need to confirm the specifications, resin system or matching connection solutions for curved flat bars, please provide information such as the service environment, arc radius, length and quantity, and we will assist in matching a suitable model. For commercial terms such as price, minimum order quantity and delivery time, please contact us for detailed specifications and quotations. Samples and technical support can also be discussed together.
Operating Environment
- These FRP structural profiles are suitable for indoor and outdoor installation, including industrial plants, chemical processing areas and moist marine environments.
- The isophthalic resin formulation offers stronger resistance to water and various corrosive media, making these profiles suitable for wet and chemical-exposure working conditions.
- With glass fiber reinforcement and a protective glass fiber cloth surface layer, the profiles can withstand the ambient temperature variations common in industrial environments without losing structural integrity.
- Typical applications include support structures in wastewater treatment facilities, cooling towers, and coastal or offshore platforms, where conventional materials may degrade.
Custom Cutting
Need panels that fit, or cut to shape? We custom cut FRP grating and profiles to your drawing: panels cut to size or to shape (corner cuts, cutouts), cut edges sealed with resin, and pre-cut and pre-drilled to drawing before shipping. See the custom cutting services.
