Product Advantages

Operating Environment
- Galvanized steel and 316 marine-grade stainless steel constructions of this LM Fiber Core (FC) Wire Rope GB7X7 (6/1) are intended for outdoor and indoor service where moisture and atmospheric corrosion are present, with the 316 stainless variant suited to marine and other aggressive conditions.
- The flexible 7X7 strand core allows the rope to run over sheaves and through routing in fixed and moving assemblies such as guy wires, fencing ropes, tagline ropes, garage door wire ropes and small-diameter slings.
- As a rope with a steel wire rope core in diameters from 0.5 mm to 2 mm, it is best protected from abrasive contact with sharp edges, and consistent lubrication is recommended to extend service life in humid or polluted atmospheres.
